Alumni Intro
Our Story

First established in May 1991, and formally registered as a Society in accordance with the provisions of the Societies Ordinance, as “Hotel Industry Training Centre Trainees & Graduates Association” with only 168 members. The Association was founded by a group of enthusiastic students of the Hotel Industry Training Centre with the vision that through the Alumni Association, the students and graduates of the training centre would form a sense of cohesiveness and provide mutual support.

Thanks to the unfailing support and guidance of instructors and the dedication of the Executive Committee together with all members, the Association has grown substantially with over 6,000 members at present. The Association was renamed as “Hospitality Industry Training and Development Centre & Chinese Cuisine Training Institute Alumni Association”(HITDC & CCTI Alumni Association) in August 2002 and as“Hotel, Tourism And Culinary Institutes Alumni Association”(HTCI Alumni Association) in Dec 2015 respectively. As the name implies, our members now consist not only students and graduates of the Hotel And Tourism Institute, but we also welcome those from the Chinese Culinary Institute & International Culinary Institute as members of our big family.

In the future, we pledge to improve our services to our members, such as organizing more self-improvement courses for members to improve their competitiveness and more social gatherings for members to relax from their hectic schedule. Also, we hope to assist our members to further their career advancement through our Alumni Job Search Web Site. All members are eligible and welcomed to use the website for job search purposes.
