On graduating from the Hotel Industry Training
Centre (now the Hospitality Industry Training and Development
Centre, HITDC) in July 1987, I entered the hospitality industry
starting as Room Attendant and progressed to my present job which is
Executive Housekeeper at the Royal Plaza Hotel.
I have been a Room
Attendant, Room Butler, Floor Supervisor, Apartment Housekeeper as
well as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper. I have worked in
different organizations such as Marco Polo Hotel, Ambassador Hotel,
Conrad Hotel, Parkside Serviced Apartment and Royal Plaza Hotel.
I
gained solid knowledge and skills at the HITDC, I am proud to walk
hand-in-hand with HITDC and share my success story with the
trainees.
